CashWhisper — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the CashWhisper mobile application ("CashWhisper", the "App"), operated by Sobeklab SL ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

CashWhisper is a personal expense-tracking application. You log expenses through a chat-style interface; the App categorizes and stores them locally on your device. CashWhisper does not connect to your bank, does not require an account, and does not upload your financial records to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use CashWhisper. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Licence

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use CashWhisper for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable law.

5. AI Processing

When you enter an expense via the chat interface, the text you type is sent to a third-party AI service (Google's Gemini API) to extract the amount, description, and category. This processing is described in our Privacy Policy. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing and correcting the data the App records. CashWhisper is a tracking tool, not a source of financial, tax, or investment advice.

6. Subscriptions, Trials and Payments

CashWhisper offers optional paid features ("PRO") via subscription and a one-time "Lifetime" purchase:

Billing. All payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Prices are shown in the App and on Google Play in your local currency.
Free trial. PRO may be offered with a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown at purchase.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account settings.
Lifetime. The one-time Lifetime purchase grants PRO access for the lifetime of the App on your account; it is not a subscription and does not renew.
Refunds. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy and any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CashWhisper to break the law, to interfere with or disrupt the App or its supporting services (including the AI endpoint), or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system.

8. Disclaimers

CashWhisper is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI categorization will be accurate. Your records are stored locally; keep your own backups — uninstalling the App or clearing its storage permanently deletes your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sobeklab SL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) CashWhisper. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App, and we may revise these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using CashWhisper at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
